All you need is “a little cloud”

All you need is “a little cloud”

One of the things I started doing during quarantine is painting. And as I finished painting today, the image reminded of 1 Kings 18:44 that says: Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.” Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, ‘Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!’”

When I look at the paint, I see a volcano, a chaotic situation like the one we are living in today. However, with Jesus, there is always HOPE if you choose to believe it.

Even though there had been a three years drought, Elijah trusted that God was sending rain as he promised when he saw a little cloud in the sky.

It was not about the cloud or the sign in this case, but it was the fact that the cloud represented the mighty work of God.

Your little cloud could be just the fact that you were able to wake up today, which shows that God is working in your life, and he is preparing you for even greater works.

Choose to see HOPE!
