We don’t have it all figured out because God is perfect, and he wants us to trust him. If you are reading this today, God hasn’t given up on you.
And if you have all your life figured out; do you really? No matter what we do to make it all happen in our lives; we will always miss out on how great we could be with God and how many lives we can impact.
My life, like anyone else’s, is a series of good and bad events, but these events don’t make us who we are. What makes you who you are is “who God says you are” and that is clear in his words. The world gives us a purpose that is limited because it is based on human accomplishments. We all know that we are not strong enough; otherwise, we wouldn’t have burnouts or suicides.
The society cannot define our purpose because all these people have no idea who you are; at least the real you, not the “Instagram you”. The world teaches us to be selfish and seek after our own praises. However, Proverbs 16:9 says that humans plan their ways, but the Lord directs our steps.
Are you brave enough to give your whole life to God? Trust me; you can’t handle it alone. Cry to God most high, to God, who will fulfill his purpose for your life (Psalm 57:2).
It’s not about how high you can fly. It’s about how high you are willing to let Jesus Christ take you; keeping in mind that he is holding you from the highest point.
God’s purpose for your life can look like your normal day. This week I was speaking about the love of Christ to a Christian lady during lunch break, and she told me “Thank you for reminding me that God is good”. This sentence might not sound extraordinary in my busy daily schedules, but I thank God for it because I don’t know what this lady was going through and I know I wouldn’t have spoken to her about Jesus if it wasn’t for God. That’s why I know that God is up to greater things in my life and yours. Hebrews 11:40 says: “since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect”.
We might not be able to see our purposes clearly, but Jesus went before us to prepare a clear path to his promises, and on top of that he is taking each step with us.
You are here for greatness; let God show you how to get there.
How do you know that yes this is God’s purpose for me?
Hi Ronie,
When we spend time in God’s words, praying and serving others, God reveals His will in one way or another.
The question is not always how will I know that I am in the will of God, but I trust that God will take me where he wants me to be.
