The exciting part about evangelism is that you get to share the word of God with people and give them the truth that will feed not only their souls but also their Spirits and minds. And, that’s also the challenging part about evangelism because everyone thinks that you are tricking them into believing in something that they shouldn’t; which leads some people to close their minds from actually listening to the life-changing message.
On the other hand, the reason we keep evangelising is not that we are all-knowing because trust me we get challenging questions, but it is because the Spirit of our Father speaks through us (Matthew 10:20). And that’s why we always pray that many people may give their lives to Christ and our hope is that each conversation brings an individual one step closer to knowing who Jesus really is and not who their “uncle” or “cousin” said He was.
Each human being knows deep inside their hearts that there is a sovereign creator. However, the problem is that many have exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and chose to worship and serve “created things” rather than the Creator / GOD (Romans 1:25).
Nature, people, animals and whatever people worship represent love only because they were created by LOVE (1 john 4:8). Wouldn’t you want to feed right from the source of love if there was a way for you to do so?
Well, Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and trust me no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Before you say no to Jesus again, ask yourself these questions:
- Do I really know Jesus?
- Then, why do I not believe in Jesus Christ?
- Is my current belief indirectly influenced by someone or a circumstance?
- Do I feel free in my current faith?
- Is my present faith fulfilling and peaceful?
